. OverviewThe concept is very simple and
straight forward, Have you seen the film Pretty Woman In the film, Gere plays a wealthy businessman bent on taking over another man's corporation using the common business practice called "An Outsider's Takeover." This technique is the key to saving the last of the Ancient Redwood Forests.
. In the film, Gere's character's intention was to buy a particular company's stock until he held a controlling interest in that corporation. Our intention is to have our friends and associates purchase enough stock in the corporations that are cutting the Virgin Redwood Forests, (one company at a time) until collectively, we hold a controlling interest in the company. (See the page: Where Will the Money Come From.' At that point, we will immediately stop all cutting in the company-owned or company- controlled Virgin Redwood Forests and in all its other virgin forests of other species, as well. Second, we'll re-organize the company so that everybody wins, including the employees, the management, the stock holders, the redwood forests, the billions of life forms that live in those forests, and you, your grandchildren, and Sacred Mother Earth, Herself. All virgin forests, (redwoods or other species) will be sold to conservatory organizations. Once the forests are safe, the stockholders can, if they choose, sell their stock and get their supporting/invested money back. We will then move on to the next offending lumber company. .
To some people, this may sound impossible, but it only sounds impossible because nobody has done it yet.' Considering the positive responses we are already receiving, we expect the timing to be rather rapid. If we had the financial clout of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, or literally thousands of other super-wealthy people, we could simply buy controlling interest in the companies (one at a time), the entire process would then be even faster. Until we have some of the powerful money interest on our team, we'll offer a little ingenuity. First, Consider This: Money is not the goal. Voting power is what we are seeking. We're looking for voting rights at each company's stock holders' meetings. Second, the only thing different and new about us, as outsiders, taking over a corporation is what we intend to do once we're in control. The Required Talent Is Available: We also require the expertise of some highly talented and strongly motivate individuals. All of this is readily available, right now.' Our job is simply to find and integrate the pieces into a working team and focus that power onto our goal. Setting the Context: Please be patient, and we'll fill you in on the details, but first we think it's wise to set the context so that the above statement makes sense to those who have not yet studied this project.
