**    According to Kevin Phillips,  author of the book, 
"American Theocracy,"  forty-five percent of the 
true believers in fundamentalist Christianity in the 
United States believe that the rapture is coming very soon.  

  George Bush's behavior indicates that

he believes in “The Rapture” 

The threat of Global Climate Change, is so evident and the consequences of ignoring this problem are so severe, so devastating, and so long-term deadly that, in order for a United States President to ignore a problem of this magnitude, he has to be either completely incompetent, certifiably insane, an agent of “Satan,” or a true believer in the Christian fairytale called “The Rapture.”

“By their fruits, you shall know them.” 

As evidenced by his activities, one could logically conclude that George Bush is a “Rapture” believer.  Here are the just a few of the main reasons why this conclusion is valid:

1)    He has repeatedly ignored the greatest threat to humanity in all of recorded history, Global Climate Change.   Instead, he has promoted policies that make the problem worse. 

2)   He is doing nothing to actually end Global Terrorism.   He has a defense-only strategy, which is guaranteed to fail and result in another major disaster worse than 9-11-2001.

3)    He invaded Iraq under fraudulent pretences and killed 600,000 Iraqi citizens, 2,700 thousand Americans service personnel, and killed or injured many thousands more.  (Data from 2006)

4)    Instead of inspiring the Iraqis to clean up the Bathe Party, he destroyed it and left no one to run the country. 

5)    Instead of revamping the Iraqi military and turning them into security forces and reconstruction workers, he disbanded the military and sent between 200,000 to 300,000 angry, military-trained men home with weapons and no jobs and no future. 

6)    He created a holy war with Islamic Extremists.  

7)    He reopened Saddam Hussein’s infamous, Abu Grave prison and put Iraqis citizens in there where they were humiliated, mistreated and tortured, further angering the entire Islamic world. 

8)     Mr. Bush has bankrupted the Unites States with severe, deficit financing and placed millions of Americans under devastating financial stress.   (War  or  domestic goods and services -- it’s an either or choice.   Mr. Bush has chosen war.)

9)     He has hundreds, perhaps thousands of men and women working for or supporting his administration who do believe in “The Rapture.” 

What is “The Rapture?”

Why Ask these Questions?” 

Because someone needs to directly confront Mr. Bush with the following question: 
“Do you believe in “The Rapture?”  

Why?   First, because the overwhelming evidence indicates that George Bush believes that “The Rapture” is real and that the end of the world is coming any day now.   And second, because the consequences of ignoring Global Climate Change are severe, devastating, and deadly for all life forms on the entire planet.

If Mr. Bush’s answers “no,” to this question, his response brings his born-again-Christian status into question in the minds of his rapture-believing followers.  (About forty-five percent of fundamentalist Christians believe that “The Rapture” is real and the vast majority of them voted for Mr. Bush in 2004.)  

If Mr. Bush answers “yes,” then he should be immediately removed from office because a “yes” answer would indicate that he is secretly promoting destructive and dysfunctional activities designed to hasten the end the world.   

Someone needs to directly confront Mr. Bush with “The Rapture” question as soon as possible.   If you can do so or can contact someone else who can, please, ask the question.

Waking Up the Public

We are seeking maps, drawing and other graphics
depicting the devastating consequences of
continuing to ignore Global Climate Change.

If you saw a map of Florida or Louisiana in the year 2099 with the ocean-level forty feet deeper and a large portion of these states under water, would that catch your attention?

What about a picture of New York Harbor showing the Manhattan Island buildings in 2099 with the ocean water flooding the lower floors of all the buildings?   Would that catch your attention?  

As part of an extensive and diverse publicity campaign we’re launching to wakeup the public to the impending Global Climate Change disaster, we are looking for graphic depictions of coastal flooding, such as the two scenes described above.   Our intention is to impress our viewers, in fifteen seconds or less, in gut wrenching clarity, of the devastating consequences of continuing to ignore Global Climate Change.
