. Historically, humans have failed to care for their environment. Much of the destruction has been a product of ignorance. Here are two very clear examples of this. Do you recall the Biblical reference to "the Cedars or Lebanon?" Where lush forests once grew, there is little left but rocks and sand. Are you aware that fifty thousand years ago (prior to the arrival of humans) much of Australian was covered with rich, dense forests. Humans came along and murdered the large animals, forever altering the ecosystem. That human intervention had a rippling effect, eventually causing entire forests to die. There's little there today except brush and grass on desert-like ground. Huge areas get intentionally burned on a regular basis. The "Down Under" Bottom line: Instead of a life-giving forest with trees being the largest life forms in a huge interactive ecosystem -- instead of taking carbon dioxide out of the air and giving off oxygen and water: We have thousands of acres with a desert-like environment with intentionally-set brushfires each year consuming oxygen and producing still more carbon dioxide and spewing large amounts of smoke and dust into the atmosphere. |

. Are you aware that Islam has had a huge negative environmental impact. Pigs do not destroy their environment. Sheep and goats do. By introducing sheep and goats into areas that were previously goat-and-sheep-free, those environments have been drastically altered, and their life-sustaining capacities drastically reduced. With ignorance, with callous disregard and/or with intentional vengeance, humans have been mass murdering critically important pieces of their environment for centuries. As with any act, there are consequences, and eventually, the pipers must be paid. The consequences are beginning to arrive, big time, and your children and grandchildren will be the biggest price payers. And here's another mostly-ignored consideration: If reincarnation is true, and the evidence overwhelmingly indicates that it is, then you, yourself, are going to be coming back to reap the consequences of your own and your fellow human's environmental destruction.
What Is the Core Cause of All this Destruction? Setting pure ignorance aside for a moment, the core cause is the belief that man is separate from nature separate from God and separate from each other. Human problems cannot be solved without seeking the truth about who and what we are and how we relate to Creator/God and to nature. Since we cannot know anything about God with provable certainty, we must rely on the available evidence. An what does that evidence tell us? If humans are to solve their problems, including their presently unsustainable, dysfunctional and destructive relationship to nature they must take a huge reality check. Anything else is an act of futile gesturing ' -- of wheel spinning -- of pretending our cherished fairytales are actual truths. . |

. While Protecting the Environment Can You Know and Love God? |
|
. . The Christian Covenant with God All Christians have a covenant with God to be stewards of the Earth. (In Genesis 9:1-20, God makes an agreement with Noah and with all his descendents to take care of all living things on Earth.) If you are Christian, then your faith requires you to ask and answer these two questions: Can I truly love God if I spend my time and my energy destroying God's creations? NO! Can I truly love God if I sit by idly watching while someone else destroys God's creations? NO! As a believing Christian, you have an obligation to honor your Bible's instructions -- be caregivers not destroyers of All the Earth's life forms. (See the additional scriptures below.) As stewards, you may be called upon to alter or redirect the growth of some of God's creatures, but wanton destruction of nature's creatures over vast stretches of the Earth's surface is nothing short of raping and murdering your own mother. Millions of square miles of the Earth are now covered with tar, cement or buildings. Millions more have been simply raped and left as dead. Read the following passage, "What you do onto the least of mine, you do onto me." ( Matthew 25:40) and then ask yourself: "Who and what are humans murdering?" The Earth, like you, is a conscious, living being, with a divine connection to God. Some call her "Sacred Mother" Others call her "Gaia." Some call her, "Space ship Earth." Regardless of what label you place upon Her, She is about to evict humans, just like you would get rid yourself of lice that infested you body's skin. . Knowing and Loving God God is unknown and, from the human perspective, almost certainly unknowable. At the present time, God is the ultimate mystery of life. Will that change? Not likely, but no one can say with certainty. In the meantime, we can easily know God indirectly by studying His/Her/Its creations. Look at the world around you. Look at your neighbor. Look at your family. Look in a mirror. Everything you see, feel, hear, taste, touch, and/or smell is a creation of God. And above all, know yourself. That's how to know God. Spiritual masters have been telling us this message for centuries. And as for loving God, the same truth applies. Love everything you see, feel, hear, taste, touch, and/or smell because everything you experience is a creation of God. The correct words to describe how to relate to the physical creations of God you see here on Earth are: Love, Appreciate, Respect, Honor, Clean, Care for, Oversee, Allow, and Nurture when necessary. So if you really want to love God, stop for a few minutes each day and say thank you for everything in your present life, and I mean everything, and then get up off your knees or your butt and start helping each other. Feed and clothe each other. Dress each other’s wounds, both physically and emotionally. Be there for each other. You might also want to take note of Verse Six in the above mentioned Biblical passages: "Whoever sheds man's blood, so shall his blood be shed. . ." Know that God has sent your brothers and sisters to Earth with you so that they would be here for you when you needed them; to watch over you when you need to be watched over; to care for you when you need care; just as you came here to care for, nurture, and watch over them. Sing and dance with each other. Eat, be merry, and above all, make love to, for, and with each other. You are all of one human family. The day you realize your place in Creation, is the day you will begin transforming the Earth back into the Garden of Eden that it once was. That's how to know God. That's how to love God.
Of those of you who attend a Christian church, answer this question: "When was the last time you heard a sermon on this passage: Ecclesiastes 3:19 "For that which befalls the sons of men befalls beasts; even one thing befalls them: as the one does, so does the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all [is] vanity." .
And here are a few more passages you may that you may not be familiar with: Psalms 82:6 "I have said, Ye [are] gods; and all of you [are] children of the most High."
Isaiah 41:23 "Shew [show] the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye [are] gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold [it] together."
John 10:30-35 + 10:38 John10:30-35 ... 30) " I and my father are one accord. 31) Then the Jews again took up stones to stone him. 32) Jesus said, I have shown you many good works from my Father; for which one of them do you stone me? 33) The Jews said to him, It is not because of the good works we stone you but because you blaspheme; for while you are only a man, you make yourself God. 34) Jesus said to them, Is it not so written in your law you are gods? 35) If he called them gods because the word of God was with them (and the scripture cannot be broken) 38) ...the Father [is] in me, and I in him.
Luke17:21 Luke 17:21 ... “Behold, the kingdom of God is within you." u What is the kingdom of God? Those who dominate right-wing Christianity have been telling the public that God's kingdom is in heaven and that heaven is that place above the clouds where all the good Christians will go to be with Jesus after the Rapture.° How does one deal with this type of inconsistency? 1) be mindless and just continue riding along on the fairytale wagon. 2) Consider the Bible to be wrong? 3) Accept what the evidence indicates -- that those leading right-wing Christianity have been and still are intentionally deceiving and misleading their followers. or 4) Ignore the problem and focus on something that really matters like who won the yesterday's ballgame.
John 14:12 John 14:12 ... "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." (Paraphrased) Anything I can do, you can do and more.
“Know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
You might also note that According to the Christian Bible, Jesus never asked God for anything. In the space of love, respect and gratitude, He merely stated his intention and said thank you. His actions, along with the Biblical scriptures such as those quoted above, support the validity that humans are far more than worthless hunks of clay that must beg an angry, fickle, violent, vindictive God for favors. These scripture also indicate that the Christian Bible is in harmony with the Three Universal Laws: . |

In all of human history, there never has been and probably never will be another distinction as important as: "Are you inside or outside of God?" This belief, no matter which perspective one believes, is the underlying context which dominates and controls vast amounts of human behavior, including one's attitude about our natural environment. http://www.Truth-Seeker-Truth.info ' |

Before you can offer answers for questions such as "Do you believe in God?" or "Does God exist?" or have a reasonably meaningful discussion about religion, you need to define what you mean when you say "God." When you understands your relationship to God, you also understands your relationship to nature. http://www.Does-God-Exist.net ' |

. This project and this website are both works in process. As the project's creator and director, I have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased by the overwhelmingly positive responses that the project is receiving. For example, the corporate financial renovation proposed by The Owner's Trust, ' although new and unusual, has been remarkably well received by all who have examined it. Responses such as. "Why didn't I think of that?" are common. You are invited to offer your opinion and add your participation. Your input will speed up the process, and as you know, the chain saws are still running, so "time is of the essence." Here's how you can be of service Thank you! . You're Also Invited to send a tax-deductible donation. . |
