. Hundreds of thousands of dedicated individuals have been working diligently for years on hundreds of major environmental issues. There have been some phenomenal successes. Unfortunately, when one compares what has been done with what is still to be done, the accomplishments are on the small side of a David and Goliath relationship. The success of this project to Preserve the Last Remaining Virgin Redwood Forests can actually reverse that relationship. Here's WHY and here's HOW ! WHY -- because the number of people who want to save these majestic forests is a hundred-thousand times greater the number who want them destroyed. Actually, this author has never met anyone who wants those trees cut down. The problem is that the vast majority of the people I've talked to about this project are either environmental-sleep-walkers and/or they feel powerless to stop the destruction. Please answer this question: Do you believe that a thousand dedicated "Davids" all focused on a single task, all at the same moment in time, would have any trouble at all toppling a lone, single Goliath? Now arm each of those thousand Davids with the correct weapon -- a weapon specifically designed and dedicated to toppling this single Goliath. What are the odds now? Who is guaranteed to win? HOW -- Several pages on this website are dedicated to the "how to. . ." aspect of this task -- Preserving the Last Remaining Virgin Redwood Forests. This website's Home Page ' will introduce you to the answers and lead you into the details. In the mean time, the key to our success is focus. Here's a symbolic example: FOCUS ! The next time you sit down to a meal, have a sharp knife on the table. Pick up your knife and with the broad side, (the flat side) cut any piece of your food. Will you be successful? No! You'll managed to squash your bread, or potatoes or cheese, or meat or whatever, but will you be successful at cutting any of them? No. Next with the back edge (the opposite the sharpened side) cut another piece of your food. Again, would you be successful? Quasi -- maybe -- sort of -- so-so ! If the food is soft, you could force your way through it. But why struggle when you have the correct tool in your hand? The only question is that you, up to now, have been applying your tool in a manner that denied you your intended success. Next with the sharpened edge of the knife, cut your food. Notice the difference. What was that difference? FOCUS ! FOCUS ! FOCUS ! The entirety of you intent and your action was focused on a very small line across your food, and, as a result of that intense focus, it cut easily. Here's another example: How Do You Eat an Elephant? (Actually we don't, but think of this symbolically.) The obvious answer is "One bite at a time." The entirety of the social, political, economic, religious, and environmental changes facing humanity today is so immense that we, as individuals, are dwarfed by them. But focusing on one single piece of this challenge is a relatively easy task. That is exactly what this project is doing. SHARP, ONE-POINTED FOCUS ON ONE SINGLE ASPECT OF OUR OVERALL GOAL. Saving

. Q: What are the implications cloaked in the success of this project? |
|
. The potential for transformation cloaked in the success of this project is mind boggling. Our success will be a role model for future successes. Once the doubters, the pooh pooh-ers, and the nay-sayers see what can be done by simply focusing on one piece at a time, they'll either shut up or join us. Those dedicated to saving the other aspects of our environment will also have a new and powerful tool at their disposal. Our success of Preserving the Last Remaining Virgin Redwood Forests will literally transform the way the environmental movement works, and that, in turn, will transform the entire planet. Imagine the power of one hundred thousand people focusing on a single small goal. That one pointed focus has been the missing piece for centuries. That is why individuals have been at the mercy of the power elite. That is about to change NOW. And we challenge you to prove us wrong. ' |

. This project and this website are both works in process. As the project's creator and director, I have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased by the overwhelmingly positive responses that the project is receiving. For example, the corporate financial renovation proposed by The Owner's Trust, ' although new and unusual, has been remarkably well received by all who have examined it. Responses such as. "Why didn't I think of that?" are common. You are invited to offer your opinion and add your participation. Your input will speed up the process, and as you know, the chain saws are still running, so "time is of the essence." Here's how you can be of service Thank you! . You're Also Invited to send a tax-deductible donation. . |
