Who Will Control the Trust?

A management team will be set up using the format used for the Retirement Trust.'

.

.

.

Electing Those Who Will Control the Trust:

.

Those who donate money to the Trust will elect the actual, hands-on, trust-management team.   For every $1,000 donated to the Trust, that donor will have one vote at the Trust's annual meeting to elect the management team.   In order to avoid the concentration of power problem that is all too common today, no individual or organization can have more than one hundred votes.   And no voting member at that meeting can be an agent of another voting member or organization.   As the trust's Creator, The N.V.P. Team shall have one hundred votes.

Letter of the Law and It's Intent:

.

One of the fundamental principles that will be stated in the Trust's original rules of establishment is that the Trust shall be run by consensus and not by domination of one person or one faction of the overall ownership.   Therefore, the Trust's rules  shall have  two equally powerful parts  --  the letter of those rules and the intention behind those stated rules.   A violation of a rule's intention shall be equal to a violation of the letter of that rule.   In any questionable practice, the Arbitrators shall resolve the disputes at their discretion.   The Arbitrator's decisions are appealable to a combined decision of  the other  three branches of the Trust, (Rule-MakersManagers, and  Reality-Checkers )  The three-branch decisions are final and unappealable.    (For An explanation of how the four branches function, see the section titled:  The Recommended Trust  Structure.)'

All  disputes that are not resolved within the above parameters must be resolved  by arbitration according to the Trust's pre-established rules of arbitration.   (A suggested set of arbitration rules will be added to this site at a later time.)

All rules must be written in plain, easy-to-understand language.   Any attempt to hide a rule under complicated sentence structure or by unwritten implication is prohibited.   Any time a rule is found to be confusing or is being misinterpreted by the voting member, the wording must be altered, and both its meaning and its  intention must be made clear.   No rule may have an amendment added to it that is not germane to the main purpose of the rule itself.

Success Is Only a Matter of You Taking Action with Us:

.

Readers must understand that this project is neither a magic potion, a silver bullet nor a quick fix.    Collectively, humans have spent years creating the circumstances and the conditions that exist today, so it's going to take some time and some effort to turn this around.    We have reached the point where a new course of action is desperately needed.    Old behavior patterns  (such as: doing more of the same,  doing the same thing harder, or waiting for someone else to do it for you)  are not going to solve today's problems.

The Reasonables'   Save-the-Virgin-Redwoods Project  is just one step in a major turn-around process.   Getting the project into its fully functioning state will take time, effort, and a change of attitude and behavior;  however, once all the pieces are in place and functioning, expanding the project will be a relatively easy task.   What is required right now  is YOU and your participation.

A Work in Process

 .

This project and this website are both works  in process.    As the project's creator and director, I have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased by the overwhelmingly positive responses that the project is receiving.   For example, the corporate  financial renovation proposed by The Owner's Trust, ' although new and unusual, has been remarkably  well received by all who have examined it.    Responses such as.  "Why didn't I think of that?"  are common.

You are invited to offer your opinion and add your participation.  Your input will speed up the process, and as you know, the chain saws are still running, so "time is of the essence."

Here's how you can be of service

Thank you!
