. Editor's note: Some advisors say that this page should not be included on this website because its content will upset many people. Please be aware the the very reason the world is in the dire state it's presently in today is because the truth is being ignored, glossed over, denied or blatatantly attacked in support of religious bigotry and/or the great God Money and disguised as "Don't make waves." If we were to omit this page, we'd be part of the problem and not part of the solution. |

. Can we simply ignore all of our problems, including the destruction of the Ancient, Virgin, Redwood Forests, and feel safe that God will soon sweep us up, up and away into heaven to be with Jesus? ** ** The
"us" in the above statement
applies For those of you who are not familiar with the details of the rapture, what the really means, and the behavior it inspires in believers, please see the page titled: The Rapture.° . If you believe in "the rapture," you're needn't be concerned about Preserving the Ancient, Virgin Redwoods, Global Climate Change, or anything else. Unfortunately, if you are a rapture believer, you do have one small problem. An in-depth investigation into the origin and credibility of "the rapture" story tells us this: 1) There is no evidence to support this story outside the scattered and highly-interpreted passages in the Christian Bible. 2) There is a 99.99% chance that this tale is just a religiously inspired story. 3) That "the rapture" story is a huge cash-cow which generates vast amounts of money to the church leaders who sell it to their followers. 4) This story in one form or another has been peddled by religious leaders for about nineteen-hundred years. Are you willing to bet your children's and your grandchildren's lives on "the rapture?" What if you are wrong? God will still do whatever God intends to do, so if you work with us in Preserving the Redwood Forests and "the rapture" is real, you still win. But if you ignore us and bet everything (including you children's lives) on " the rapture" and you're wrong, you lose BIG TIME! If you support "the rapture" and it doesn't show up, you end up living or, more likely, prematurely dying on a planet that you helped or allowed to be irreversibly damaged. You children and grand children will either hate you, think you were a damned fool, or both. The planet will be dramatically altered and those changes could trigger the death of most of the world's plants and animals and most if not all humans, including your children and grandchildren. Is this the kind of bet you want to make. . |

. The ultra-conservative, fundamentalist Christians leaders in the United States tell their followers that the present strife, chaos, environmental destruction, and wars are good things because they mean that the end of the world is at hand and that they, the true believers, (and only the true-believers) will soon be lifted up out of the chaos and destruction and ushered directly into heaven be with God and Jesus. It's called "the rapture." It's a highly-emotional, highly-stylized, unprovable, mind-bending story about the return of Jesus in a physical body. It's a huge cash-cow which generates vast amounts of money for the ultra-conservative, fundamentalist Christians leaders who peddle it. It easily sways the mindless followers of fundamentalist Christianity (the men and women who resist change, follow orders, and do not think for themselves.) These people are looking for a painless escape hatch from their confusing and insecure lives in a very chaotic, rapidly changing world. As a result of accepting this story, the followers feel that they can simply sit back and wait, and either do nothing or encourage the chaos. They believe themselves to be among the chosen few for whom God is about to grant special favors while he ignores everybody else. In that mind-set, there's no sense in being concerned about such things as wars, or the destruction of the Earthly environment because all these negative events are part of God's plan to end the world. It's about to end any day now. What the leaders just happen to omit from their preaching is that this story, in a much less dramatic format, has been around for about nineteen-hundred years Followers have been buying this same story since about one-hundred years after the life of Jesus. A sizable portion on the American population believes that this story is "The Truth." According to Kevin Phillips, author of the book, "American Theocracy," forty-five percent of the true believers in fundamentalist Christianity in the United States believe that the rapture is coming very soon. There seems to be no bottom to the pit of mindlessness. The evidence indicates that "the rapture" is a highly-destructive, religious fairytale. Check it out for yourself: The Rapture '

. . What are these people doing and why are they doing it? The leaders are functioning on one of two motive-- 1) either they are running a money-hustle to enhance their own power, wealth and prestige -- or 2) they believe the story and are doing what they can to hasten the destruction of the world and speed up their entry into heaven. The followers simply do nothing or do what they can to hasten the destruction of the world and speed up their entry into heaven. The perspective that "they are on a blind, suicide mission" and that the rest of us will die with them is of no concern to those who believe in "the rapture."

. With such a large percentage of the American population believing in the rapture , it's critical to know if those who claim to be protecting us from terrorists are actually doing their job and that they are not secretly supporting the end of the world. Given the number of people who believe "the rapture" story to be true, it's a reasonable assumption that some believers in "the rapture" are playing significant roles in interfering with the George Bush's "war on terrorism." .
. .
. Take a moment to examine the behavior of "Resident" George "Born-Again" Bush. Does anything he has done or is doing make an sense in the long-term analysis. He has started an extremely dangerous and deadly religious war with fanatical, Muslim, religious extremists. He's doing everything he can to destroy the environment. He is denying and all but completely ignoring Global Climate Change. He is doing his best to put fundamentalist Christians into positions of political power. He's breaking all precedence regarding maintaining the separation between the Christian church and the Government. He's funneling billions of tax dollars into fundamentalist, Christian coffers. He has deficit financed the federal government to the point of near bankruptcy. He's doing everything he can to funnel more money and power to the wealthy and destroy the middle class. His administration is rampant with sleaze and thinly veiled corruption. His chief advisor, Carl Rove, is one of the vilest, dirty tricksters to ever appear in Washington. And in the face of all this, a significant number of people still support him. One has to ask why? Because he's a self-proclaimed born-again Christian and he's secretly promoting the Rapture! You are herby challenged to prove me wrong! How to prove me wrong? At a public event where "Resident" Bush answers questions, simply ask him. If say he does not believe in "the rapture," that will bring serious questions about his "born-again" credibility into the minds of those who do believe in the rapture. By denying the rapture, he would expose himself as a "born-again-fraud" using religiosity to gain power, money and votes. If he says he does believe in "the rapture," then his "war on terrorism" is a fraud - a cover story while he secretly works to hasten the end of the world. In either case, it makes him unfit to sit in the office of the United States President.

. With all the lies of commission and omission, with all the denials, with all the Republican corruption, with all the scandals, with the disaster unfolding in Iraq, with the re-insurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan, why are so many people still adamantly supporting George Bush and the Republican Party? Because , by their words and actions, Bush and company have, in essence, declared that God and Jesus are on their side and that the devil controls the Democratic Party. Also because ultra-conservative Christian leaders and fascist-leaning politicians are in bed together -- each prostituting the other in pursuit its own political agenda. ' Although this author has seen no hard statistics to support the following hypothesis, it's a very safe bet to say that the majority of Bush supporters are mindless Christians who simply follow orders and vote as their church leaders tell them to. And it's also a safe bet to say that a significant portion of Bush supporters are believers in the Christian fairytale called The Rapture. ' Here is an undeniable example of Christian mindlessness: When former Republican Speaker of the House and wheeler-dealer, power-broker, Tom Delay was being arrested for criminal behavior, he smiled for his mug shot and said that he hoped that people could see Jesus in his picture. Delay, one of the vilest corrupters of ethic and one of the worst defilers of Christian principles in recent history, is still peddling Jesus. Why? This man is a clever, conniving con artist and he's peddling himself as a good Christian for a reason. Because even in the face of his years of destructive and despicable behavior, countless, mindless suckers are still buying his Christian-good-guy story! Hubris, hypocrisy, arrogance, deception, outright lies, denial, and religious mindlessness have been gathered together into one single package and sold under the disguise of "I'm a good Christian," and the suckers are still buying. Regardless of what face it shows to the world, religion without a mind is deadly ' when it gains political power. Does this tell you anything about why religion and politics need to be kept as separate as possible? (See the page titled: It's Wakeup Time.° and the page titled: Voting for God.°) For an in-depth documentary of just how corrupt the political system in Washington, D.C. has become, readers are directed to the PBS video series "Bill Moyers on America," and to the specific video titled: "Capital Crimes." . People are killing each other over beliefs that are hundreds, even thousands of years old -- over beliefs handed down from generation to generation without question from highly superstitious men who also believed the Earth was flat -- over beliefs that have no evidence to support them -- over beliefs that defy common sense -- over beliefs that are in sharp contrast to, and is some cases, directly contradictory to beliefs of other religions. Each side is these conflicts claims exclusive access to God -- exclusive access to the truth -- exclusive access to a mythical place above the clouds called heaven. Neither side will compromise. Neither side will acknowledge that it could be wrong about its knowledge of God. Neither side will acknowledge that there could be more than one path to God. Both sides are willing to go to war and even die to defend its beliefs. Now, add chemical weapons, biologic weapons, nuclear weapons, and suicide bombers to the above mix. Be sure to allow room for tanks, guns, automatic weapons, airplanes, rockets, and the like. Throw in the a few million, mindless, religious true-believers. Add the egocentric atheists who are making millions selling weapons. Fold in gross overpopulation to the point of massive destruction of our natural environment. Bring in the Bush and Company's denial of reality. And remember to include "The Rapture° " fairy tale and Islamic jihad. As a bonus, note that, if left unchecked, the already-in -process, Global Climate Change will, all by itself, destroy most of the life forms on Earth and make the planet all but uninhabitable. Let the entire mess be run by agents of The Great God Money° and you have "Life on Earth - 2007."

Living Under an Illusion: |
|
. A very significant portion of the human population has no idea what's really going on. Because life is not what we've been led to believe it is by those who claim to know, you, I, and everybody else have been (and still are) making critical, irreversible, life-altering decisions based upon false, incomplete, and/or intentionally-deceptive information! Based upon our beliefs, every single one of us is pushing human kind either closer to oblivion or closer to a successful transformation into an age of self-awareness. The direction in which you are pushing is dependent upon your beliefs. Saving

In all of human history, there never has been and probably never will be another distinction as important as: "Are you inside or outside of God?" This belief, no matter which perspective one believes, is the underlying context which dominates and controls vast amounts of human behavior, including one's attitude about our natural environment. http://www.Truth-Seeker-Truth.info ' |

Before you can offer answers for questions such as "Do you believe in God?" or "Does God exist?" or have a reasonably meaningful discussion about religion, you need to define what you mean when you say "God." . This project and this website are both works in process. As the project's creator and director, I have been pleasantly surprised and very pleased by the overwhelmingly positive responses that the project is receiving. For example, the corporate financial renovation proposed by The Owner's Trust, ' although new and unusual, has been remarkably well received by all who have examined it. Responses such as. "Why didn't I think of that?" are common. You are invited to offer your opinion and add your participation. Your input will speed up the process, and as you know, the chain saws are still running, so "time is of the essence." Here's how you can be of service Thank you! .
